Our Open Regatta is open to all including visitors and will start at 11am with a series of races of interesting and varied courses. The day will finish with a barbecue where cooking facilities will be provided together with a variety of salads but Members and visitors are to provide their own food to cook and drinks. Soft drinks and teas and coffees will be available. This is a great social event and we hope to see you all on the day whether to sail or to watch/join in with the BBQ.

On Sunday we have our two combined single day trophy events. Veterans are classed as anyone 45 years of age and above and a Novice is anyone who has not won a Club Trophy. Races for each Trophy will consist of 3 points races with best 2 of 3 to count.

Unfortunately the Race Training Day at Shearwater for this Saturday 26th July 2014 has had to be cancelled. We apologise to anyone who was looking to attend the day and would be grateful if you could kindly let me know to enable us to consider re-arranging for some future date.

This Saturday we welcome Members of the CVRDA and anyone with a dinghy built before 1985 and of a class designed before 1965 to take part in our racing at Shearwater. The first race will be at 11.00am with a break for lunch (filled rolls will be available to purchase) and with a second race starting at 1.15pm. Entry fee is £10 per dinghy and tea and cakes will be provided following the second race as part of the entry fee.
