Our recent weekend of RNLI events over the 26th and 27th April including race entrance donations resulted in a total of £187.07 being raised towards the work of this charity and the Club have received a letter of thanks from their local Branch Treasurer. Thank you to all those who generously donated items for the sale, home made cakes and their time. Hopefully we can make this an annual event at the Club. Items remaining after the weekend were donated to Dorothy House to raise money towards the work of care and support they provide within our community.

A Big Thank You
Thank you to all those who turned out for the two recent working parties, the weather was kind to us and much was done and it is now great to see the Club ready for the new season. I know that a number of Members were unable to attend due to other commitments but fortunately this year we have a third working party arranged for Saturday 10th May, so please make a note in your diary. Thank you to all those who supported the Fitting Out Supper + Barn Dance and in particular Raggle Taggle and Peter Barnes for the music and calling, Verity and Gavin Brewerton for manning the softs drinks ‘bar’, Deborah Rawson for selling raffle tickets and John Stuckey on the door.
